Erin struggled to do much successfully for most of her life, always kind of gawky and clumsy, she had a hard time even holding down a job for very long. Then she had a fateful encounter with a meteor from another dimension. The rock had been infused with all kinds of energies from standard cosmic radiation to powerful life forces from an alternate reality. Infused with its power she was completely transformed...physically. Granted the powers and body of a virtual goddess compared to her awkward former self, this lifelong comic book fan decided that she should be a super hero.
In spite of mind-blowing levels of physical strength, the ability to leg press over 200,000 tons in addition to flight and super speed, able to travel at speeds nearing mach 10, she actually didn't gain much in the way of coordination. Unleashing her physical might bears considerable risk of outright cataclysmic calamity in terms of property damage.
She has a sort of healing or amplifying power as well, her physical touch can, if she wills it, impart some of her power onto another. This might mean someone healing from seemingly fatal wounds or, if misapplied, a houseplant growing to redwood-like proportions and destroying the house it was in. However imparting too much can drain her own powers. .50 caliber bullets bounce off her harmlessly and she can yell loud enough to shatter glass from the volume alone. Her vision is like a spy satellite and she can hear a pin drop in a busy restaurant.
Having spent her life skinny and often fighting acne she isn't well equipped to deal with the physical beauty that her metamorphosis imparted on her at times. She's still socially awkward, but trying to learn. She really, truly, just wants to be helpful, but her continued bungling in spite of her new body has a tendency to make people not welcome her presence.
